How Is Your Homeschool Year Going?

It's almost Labor Day! By this time of year we have usually been back to homeschooling for a few weeks after our brief summer break, and I'm ready to take a small evaluation of how things have been going and what things may need an adjustment.

Now sister, I'm going to be really honest. This year that hasn't happen. We have had good intentions and a few false starts, but with the unforeseen issues with our livestock - a.k.a. our new boar escaping his pen and the electrical fence to roam for three days - recurrent illness, and the looming embarrassment of boxes still in our school Atrium after our May move, what school work we have completed just doesn't feel substantial enough to count as a positive beginning to the year.

Since we use Ambleside Online as the foundation of our curriculum I always have a pretty good idea of what needs to be done. However with the uncertainties that I can't control and that seen to just keep multiplying this summer, I've realized that I need a more concrete plan during this season of life.

That's why I'm so thankful for the help of Pam's new course, Put Your Homeschool Year on Autopilot. I don't know about you, but for me being able to put anything on autopilot right now sounds heavenly.

I'd love to know what kind of a start your school year is off to or any tips you have for when a school year is off to a wonky start. Maybe you're like me and are in need of a revamp already, or perhaps you are in the final planning stages for your family to begin in September.

However well things may be going I want to invite you to join me and put your homeschool year on autopilot. My re-planning will begin the week of Labor Day in a Facebook group of only Barefoot Abbey readers taking the course with me. In this Facebook group I will walk with you through the course with a special focus on planning a homeschool year with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in tow.

If this course sounds like the answer to your homeschool prayers it will be available for purchase until Friday (August 31) then close for the year. What's great about the set up of Put Your Homeschool Year on Autopilot is that once you buy it, it's yours to use and reuse forever at your convenience. Pam also thoughtfully offers a 30 day guarantee (no questions asked!), just in case the course ends up not being what you wanted. I'd be happy to get answers for any questions may you have as well.

If you purchase the course please use the contact form below to let me know and I will email you an invitation to our secret Facebook group. I appreciate your company in this process. Let's bring more peace and intentionality to our homeschools together!

Blessings,
